HOW DOES IT WORK?

Killing Max is a ready-to-use insecticide spray effective against 14 pests, including red poultry mites. Empty the poultry housing and target hiding surfaces. Do not apply to chickens, chicks or other animals.

    EMPTY THE POULTRY HOUSING AND AREA

    Remove animals; identify hiding gaps at perch, nest box and equipment joints.

  2. 02

    HIDING SURFACE CONTACT

    A red poultry mite encounters the product in a treated crack, joint or travel surface.

  3. 03

    THE EFFECT DEVELOPS OVER TIME

    Increased activity may be seen initially; this indicates that the product has started to take effect. Pest movement then begins to decrease.

    PESTS DIE

    The pests die within 24 hours.

WHERE SHOULD IT BE APPLIED?

Target hiding places and travel routes together.

    Under perches and at joints

    Surfaces under perches and gaps at timber or equipment joints.

  2. 02

    Around nest boxes

    Outer nest box edges and suitable surrounding surfaces where hiding is observed.

  3. 03

    Cage gaps

    Empty cage frames, joints and narrow hiding gaps.

    Wall cracks and timber joints

    Cracks, sheltered areas and timber joints where daytime hiding is observed.

    Under equipment and at wall bases

    Feet, lower edges and wall–floor junctions, excluding feed-contact surfaces.

HOW SHOULD IT BE APPLIED?

Surface spraying in an unoccupied indoor area. Ready to use; apply directly.

    SHAKE WELL

    Shake well before use. Release the safety lock at the tip of the spray head.

    REMOVE ANIMALS, FIND NARROW GAPS

    Work in empty poultry housing or the relevant unoccupied indoor area. Identify perch joints, nest box surroundings, cage joints and areas under equipment. Exclude feeders and drinkers.

  3. 3

    SPRAY FROM APPROXIMATELY 40 CM

    Hold the bottle upright and spray onto suitable cracks, joints and travel surfaces where red poultry mites hide from a distance of approximately 40 cm, using the amount specified on the label.

AFTER APPLICATION

Follow both the timing and the drying requirement.

    APPLICATION

    Application is completed.

  2. 1HOURS

    KEEP THE AREA CLOSED

    Keep the relevant area closed for 1 hour.

  3. LET SURFACES DRY

    Wait for surfaces to dry. Drying time is not fixed.

  4. 1HOURS

    VENTILATION

    Once surfaces are dry, ventilate the area for 1 hour.

  5. RETURN TO THE AREA

    Use the area again only after the stated times and drying requirement have been met.

IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTEBecause the product leaves no odour, its presence may be harder to notice. Always ventilate for the stated times after application and follow the label’s safety precautions.
