TARGET 09 / TICKHOW DOES IT WORK?
CONTACT STARTS THE ACTION.
RESULTS DEVELOP OVER TIME.
Killing Max is a ready-to-use insecticide spray effective against 14 pests, including ticks. Do not apply Killing Max to people or animals for ticks. The label specifies targeting surfaces where ticks may be present in unoccupied indoor areas and around the home.
- 01
CHECK WHERE YOU WILL APPLY IT
Assess unoccupied indoor areas separately from hard travel surfaces around the home.
- 02
SURFACE CONTACT
Target edges and travel surfaces where ticks may be present, not the animal’s body.
- 03
THE EFFECT DEVELOPS OVER TIME
Increased activity may be seen initially; this indicates that the product has started to take effect. Pest movement then begins to decrease.
- 24HOURS
PESTS DIE
The pests die within 24 hours.
WHERE SHOULD IT BE APPLIED?
Target hiding places and travel routes together.
- 01
Edges in unoccupied indoor areas
Indoor skirting boards, wall–floor junctions and suitable surfaces under belongings.

Door thresholds
Hard thresholds and travel surfaces at home entrances; do not target people or animals.
- 03

Hard ground edges around the home and travel lines where they meet walls.

- 1
SHAKE WELL
Shake well before use. Release the safety lock at the tip of the spray head.
- 2
DISTINGUISH INDOOR AREAS FROM AREAS AROUND THE HOME
Empty the indoor area and identify edges and hiding places. Around the home, choose surfaces within the label’s scope, such as doors, hard ground edges and wall bases.
- 3
SPRAY FROM APPROXIMATELY 40 CM
Hold the bottle upright and spray onto suitable surfaces and travel points where ticks may be present from a distance of approximately 40 cm, using the amount specified on the label.
AFTER APPLICATION
Distinguish indoor conditions from those around the home.
EXCEPTION FOR TREATMENT AROUND THE HOMEFor ticks around the home, the label provides an exception to keeping the area closed for 1 hour. The closure and ventilation sequence below is for unoccupied indoor areas. In both settings, wait for surfaces to dry and follow the label’s safety precautions.

MONITOR RESULTS
Assess treated surfaces and the source of the problem together.
If the tick problem continues
ENVIRONMENTAL TREATMENT
DOES NOT REPLACE
TREATMENT OF THE ANIMAL.
- Ticks on an animal must be assessed separately.
- A different travel point around the home may have been left untreated.
- A surface under belongings or in a crack indoors may have been missed.
- A newly seen tick may not have contacted a treated surface.
Distinguish where the tick was seen: on an animal, indoors or around the home. Seek veterinary assessment for problems on an animal. Keep surface treatment within the label’s scope.
